Our Work Focus

                            

FEEDING PROGRAM

Feeding  is  done through  the  weeks .

  • Feeding is  done from funds received  from  donations  of  God fearing  people.
  • RCA, process is to allow volunteers gather, cook and serve the food to more then  hundred children and feed widows  and elderly  people,
  • provision  of supplementary food  for  malnourished children and  disable people.

COUNSEL LING PROGRAM

  • RCA provides  counseling to  refugee Children of Buduburam refugee  camp , who witnessed horrific acts of violence as a result of war their respective country such as, Liberia and other nations.
  •  RCA, provides support and guidance to help equip the children to move forward  and  to avoid emotion from what they see and heard  about war. 

Educational guidance:

  •  RCA, encourages children to pursue educational opportunities and provides them, with   basic family relationships. RCA.directly works with students who are experiencing difficulties in school,by providing scholarships  and  sponsorship  as  an added package.

Sexual Health Education:

  •  RCA, educates  target audience by providing information about safe sex practices and HIV / AIDS and encourage abstinence from early sex. Besides , RCA provides health care,  waste treatment,  waste management ,  malaria  campaign, shelter as well as  safe drinking water.

WIDOWS PROGRAM

  1.  In our effort to assist widows, and other  affected people ,  we  see  to   th Combat HIV/AIDS by  been compassionate,building  and hope in  those  who  are affected. Create a supportive societal response to those who lost their husbands in wars, infected and affected environment, giving them hope and providing humanitarian services for people living with Aids and  war victims.
  2. Rebuild hope that will  hope that will benefit the widows and their children within the refugee camps and poor  community using local resources.
  3. Prepare widows and  other people  before  meeting  their inevitable end that is, (death for those infected) and to prepare  future for  their children and thus advocate for their welfare and protection.
  4. To create awareness about HIV/AIDS, self-reliance and positive thinking and living amongst widows and their children.
  5. Empowering poor  widows groups and individuals:and  bringing them  together  to share  ideas, skills  and  experiences through peer exchanges and meetings and to participate in decision making, planning and implementation of issues that affect them.
  6. Train widows in practical income generating skills and access to finance and other resources to enable  them to provide appropriate care and support.
  7.  Working with Women and Teenagers on issues such, (Rape), and other related issues on  the refugee camps  and  poor  communities.
