What We Can  Do

RCA works in three areas: Education, Health care- Protection, and Agriculture

Education

  • Seeking sponsorship and scholarship from philanthropists and donor organizations for refugee children, especially girls, wayward children and other disadvantaged people.
  • Building Schools, technical and vocational and boarding training centers in refugee's camps and rural communities as a way of opening up opportunities for refugee children, rural children and other individuals who are unable to have access to education due to economic deprivation.
  • Organize training programs, workshops and seminars for the development of human resources and capacity building as well as to encourage gender equality
  • Teaching the refugee children gospel lesson , Christian education  etc
  • Helping widows and Widowers and their  children to be self reliant and
  • Providing Counseling biblical , psychosocial or  otherwise  to over  traumas resulting  from wars , and  other  tragedies

Health Care/Protection

  •  Our vision, shall be also to Provide Health Care  and  protection for refugee in terms of any problem confronting  the  children  such as  trafficking , child labor,  sexual abuse  and  child  inscription etc.
  • Constructing Children’s health centers in refugee’s camp and rural areas.
  • Acquiring mobile clinic vans to be used in various refugees camps and communities to treat children when doctors and /or nurses are insufficient/ or inadequate on a daily basis.
  • Organizing workshops, Seminars and Public Health Campaigns that are eared toward provision of health deliveries and education with emphasis on the preventive health care, such as, HIV/AIDS awareness among refugees Camps and the Rural communities
  • Mobilizing and encouraging specialized doctors to take assignment in refugee camps and rural areas of Africa and other crisis spots to provide essential medical services.
  • .RCA will provide essential drugs and medical equipment to enhance the work of the medical staff to perform effective and efficient services.
  • . Provision of safe drinking water, food and the essential facilities shall be our prime concern to refugee’s camps and rural areas. Storage facilitates and maintenance of the water facilities will be highly prioritized..

Agriculture

  • Mobilizing and encouraging youths in refugee's camps and rural areas for communal farming projects as a source of subsistence and revenue generation for self-reliance.
  • Providing seeds, seedlings, chemicals and fertilizers and tools to the youth in the communities.
  • We will established  corporate societies among  the farmers to encourage the spread ideas and expertise
  • We will attract sponsorship and partnership and  identify local and international markets so that the surplus of the harvest will be sold as a means of generating income for the Refugees, widows, and  the less privilege farmers.
